Check out my Facebook page for recent lovely weddings I have been lucky enough to be the celebrant for!

You can contact me anytime for a chat or meeting and we can work out how I can design a ceremony just for you.

To start planning your ceremony please fill in the 'Contact me', enter your ceremony date, venue and contact details, or give me a call so I can check my availability for your special day.  Look forward to hearing from you!

 So ...who is Felicity Murray?

Well, it isn't actually all about me, it is all about you! But it sure helps you when choosing your celebrant to know a little about the person you are entrusting with creating your special ceremony, contributing to the memories you are making for yourselves, your family, your friends.

Many couples seem to want beautiful young beings as their celebrant. I may not be at the young stage of life, but the fountain of youth ain't everything when it comes to making such a life changing and important commitment as getting married! I have had a rich and varied life, collecting experiences, developing skills and expertise in a number of areas which have enabled me to become an effective Auckland-based celebrant.

I have been married for thirty years, and with my husband we have two daughters. I live in the Auckland suburb of Bucklands Beach, and have done so for more than twenty five years.

My professional background has been in finance, corporate banking and horticulture. I have worked and lived in Fiji and India, exposing me to a very diverse range of people, cultures and life experiences. I currently have my dream job (aside from being a celebrant of course!) - a shop girl in Poppies Bookshop in Howick.

Speaking in public and making presentations comes easily to me through my involvement since childhood with speech and drama, Toastmasters and many leadership roles I have had in community groups.

I am an experienced writer, being a book reviewer for Booksellers NZ,
doing my own book review blog, and for nearly ten years volunteered for Totara Hospice as a biography writer for terminally ill patients. I have been involved in the Seasons for Grief programme, as a companion to children experiencing loss and grief, and have contributed articles to SPELD, a charitable trust helping people with learning difficulties.
